Urgent Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine: Report from PBV Team in Romania 3/29
It is now one month since the Russian military invasion of Ukraine began on February 24. Already, more than 3.5 million people (90% of whom are women and children) have had to flee from their homes to other countries as refugees, and it is estimated that a further 6.5 million people have been displaced within Ukraine. This total of 10 million people represents close to one quarter of Ukraine’s population, and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis is now being faced.
