PBV Held Disaster Preparedness Webinars for Foreign Residents in Japan
On November 29–30, Peace Boat Disaster Relief (PBV) conducted a series of online disaster preparedness webinars designed specifically for foreign residents living in Japan. The four sessions covered essential topics related to earthquakes, floods, typhoons, and general preparedness for life in a disaster-prone country. Throughout the series, participants learned practical steps they can take to stay safe—such as how disasters may affect urban areas like Tokyo, what items to prepare in advance, how to secure the home environment, how to interpret hazard maps, and when and where to evacuate during severe weather.
