PBV Concludes Vital Indonesia Flood Relief, Extends Thanks to Generous Donors
PBV has completed its emergency response to the severe rains that struck Indonesia in 2025, with thousands of people receiving food and essential supplies through the operation.
The relief effort was carried out in partnership with the local organisation ASAR Humanity and was supported by a wide range of companies, groups and individual donors. Among them was OM2 Dining Co., Ltd., which operates Outback Steakhouse restaurants across Japan.
Thanks to those contributions, PBV and its partners were able to provide around 27,300 hot meals and distribute relief supplies — including food, hygiene items and bedding — to approximately 9,700 households.
Details of the emergency response were previously introduced in PBV’s official update, Emergency Relief for Indonesia.
PBV recently visited the office of OM2 Dining to express its gratitude in person and thanked them directly for their support.

During the visit, PBV heard how OM2 Dining has continued to support disaster-affected communities in north-eastern Japan over many years through charity menu initiatives at its restaurants. The company also shared how, in recent years, it had expanded its efforts to include international humanitarian support, inspired in part by the voices and experiences of technical trainees from countries such as Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
The compassion shown by the people behind Outback Steakhouse, together with their determination to help others across national borders, had helped create a strong circle of support for communities affected by the disaster.
We express our sincere thanks to everyone at OM2 Dining, as well as to all companies, organisations and individuals who contributed to the relief effort in Indonesia.
