2026 Kumamoto Earthquake: PBV Publishes Interim Activity Report

Two months have passed since the Kumamoto Earthquake struck on July 28, 2026. Since the disaster, Peace Boat Disaster Relief (PBV) has continued working with local communities to provide emergency assistance and support recovery efforts.

Thanks to generous donations from supporters in Japan and around the world, PBV has been able to continue its activities on the ground. Our team has been delivering essential supplies, supporting evacuation centers, and working alongside local communities as they respond to the ongoing impacts of the disaster.

While the immediate emergency phase has passed, recovery will take time, and many people continue to need support.

PBV has now published an interim activity report outlining our response and activities to date. The report also shares how donations have been used to support affected communities.
