Indonesia Volcano Crisis: PBV Partners with Local NGO to Provide Relief
On November 7, Mount Lewotobi erupted, launching a massive 15,000-meter ash plume. So far, nine lives have been lost, 2,472 people evacuated, and over 11,000 impacted across eight districts (ASAR Humanity, as of November 9, 2024). As eruptions continue, damage may worsen, leaving homes, schools, and places of worship in ruins.
Urgent needs are food packs, masks, drinking water, bedding supplies, hygiene kits, and medical supplies. PBV is working closely with a local NGO (ASAR Humanity) to provide emergency assistance. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed in the affected areas, and activities may be subject to change depending on the situation. Your donations will be used carefully for emergency relief activities, rebuilding lives and communities according to the needs of the affected areas.
We seek your generous cooperation to help those in the affected communities.
