PBV has been working closely with ASAR Humanity<\/a> to provide emergency assistance to affected communities in Ache and West Sumatra Provinces.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Relief efforts in Aceh and West Sumatra Provinces<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n (Source: Official YouTube channel of our local partner, ASAR Humanity)<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can read more about our initial emergency response here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n With financial support from the Japan Platform (JPF)<\/a>, we are expanding our assistance from Aceh and West Sumatra provinces to North Sumatra Province, where food and relief item distributions began on January 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Starting on January 27, we began distributing 1,000 hot meals per day to affected residents at a site adjacent to an elementary school in Sipirok, North Sumatra. By the end of January, a total of 5,000 meals were provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We will continue to provide assistance while conducting ongoing needs assessments to respond to the evolving situation on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n PBV\u2019s emergency response is made possible by the support of our donors and partners.
