 On November 7, Mount Lewotobi erupted, launching a massive 15,000-meter ash plume. So far, nine lives have been lost, 2,472 people evacuated, and over 11,000 impacted across eight districts (ASAR Humanity<\/a>, as of November 9, 2024). As eruptions continue, damage may worsen, leaving homes, schools, and places of worship in ruins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Urgent needs are food packs, masks, drinking water, bedding supplies, hygiene kits, and medical supplies. PBV is working closely with a local NGO (ASAR Humanity<\/a>) to provide emergency assistance. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed in the affected areas, and activities may be subject to change depending on the situation.
