In the six months since then, many people have visited every day from near and far, interested in events, using the internet and other facilities there, or visitors coming to Ishinomaki for the first time since the earthquake. In this time, there has been more than 5000 visitors and participants in various events. in operation had a great deal of trial and error but, there were many great encounters and initiatives made possible because of this center. \u00a0Peace Boat Ishinomaki will continue to plan more events and programmes, hoping for the centre to be used by many people from the local community and also those supporting Ishinomaki from afar.
