Months after the initial impact, infrastructure restoration efforts are still ongoing across the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peace Boat Disaster Relief (PBV), in collaboration with our local partner, People\u2019s Disaster Risk Reduction Network, Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pdrrn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">PDRRN<\/a>), has provided hygiene and daily necessity kits to 209 households in northern Catanduanes. Despite these prolonged hardships and logistical difficulties, PBV and PDRRN remain dedicated to providing continuous support to the affected communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Catanduanes was particularly hard hit between October and November 2024, when six typhoons struck the region in quick succession.
